Adult Parties

The Adult Painting Parties are perfect for any occasion: showers, birthdays, corporate events, team building, staff Christmas parties or just an evening out.

Our adult parties are for a minimum group of 10 people (if you have less than 10 people, split other fees to cover 10 person min).  The parties run for 3 hours with instruction given at the beginning and our availability / help throughout.  Parties are held in our private party room or the main floor studio when the store is closed*. Private parties can be booked any day or evening of the week.

HOW OUR PRICING WORKS

Adult party rate is a per person studio fee (use of space, equipment, paints & the piece being clear glazed and fired in our kiln) of $19.95 plus the cost of the ceramic piece(s) (minimum $16 spend)

$19.95 (studio) + min $16 ceramic(s) = $35.95 per person + HST

Compare to: Walk-in studio fee to paint one $20 ceramic item (bisque) is $15.50 

Party studio rate allows you to paint up to 3 pieces ** during your 3 hour party.  Party studio rates are greatly reduced so it’s like free studio for your 2nd and 3rd items.  Ceramic pieces range from $8 to $50, with a selection to suit every taste.  Over 300 items to choose from, including housewares, kitchen, décor, kids & holiday.  Guests must spend a minimum of $16 per person on bisque.  Includes private staff & room!

Base fee $35.95 per person (studio fee: $19.95 + $16 minimum spent on ceramic item(s))

** Christmas trees are not allowed as part of party studio fee. Regular in-store studio fee applies. No other discounts apply.

If the guest(s) do not have time to finish the item(s), we have hold shelves in the back and they may come back as many times as they like weekdays at NO additional charge to work on the paid piece(s).  Please be sure to arrive promptly to take full advantage of your allotted time.

Items ready 1.5 weeks later.

Groups of 16+ people MUST PICKUP INDIVIDUALLY. Groups of 15 or less can pickup together OR individually (tell staff option that works). 

Additional time available $48/half hour

Parties are allowed 15 minutes before & after reserved party time.  If exceeded you will be charged additional 1/2 hour fees.  

FOOD & DRINK:

Food & drink will be allowed. Alcohol allowed ONLY if store closed to public (ie after regular hours party)

All parties require a $50 deposit and there is a ten day minimum cancellation notice. Deposit will be refunded day of event & guests can pay individually or as a group.  10 day minumum for cancellations.

*Private main floor studio available outside of regular store hours.  ie weekdays before store opens 10am-1pm or after store closes (call for availability).

GROUP MUG OPTIONS

IN STORE:  If your group wants to paint mugs ONLY, there is group rate ($28.95+ hst) per person, for 12oz regular mugs ONLY.  Rainbow of 10 preselected colours. Still with private room/staff. 2.5 hours. Minimum 10 people. Food/drink allowed. 

TAKE OUT:   The take out Ceramic MUG Painting rate is $27.95 per person.  Minimum 10 people, if you have less you will still have to pay for all 10. Kit includes  mugs, 10 paint colours, brushes, palettes, colour tile & instructions. Mugs will be boxed & ready for pickup about 1.5 weeks later. (NO individual pickup, items must be picked up together).  Staff rate is NOT included in this price.  Staff rate to run party is $50/hour minimum 2 hours (setup, instruction, clean up, 1/2 hour travel in GTA core).  Instructions are included with kit so your staff can run party too. 

 

Please note: your party is not confirmed until you pay the deposit. Space will be held for 3 days from this invoice date Finally, your deposit will be refunded when kit is returned within 7 days of pickup.
